There's also a cool add-in called "Master Video Control" that enables much higher quality video, although it costs money and I have had stability issues when trying to use it: Once you get it to show up at all, you can get decent quality by turning up the quality options in the camera pod, and the Windows version also has some better audio quality options (as compared to Mac). One "gotcha" on the Canopus is making sure it's set to "analog in" instead of "digital in" on the box itself, which you've probably checked, but I thought I'd mention it. If you are on Windows (XP) - when you plug in the Canopus, does the little "camera detected" dialog box pop up? Can you confirm that the camera is being recognized in another application? Important: are you on Windows or MacOS? In the Mac version, I've experienced regular crashing when trying to use a Firewire video source, which I have not bothered to troubleshoot since it works fine on the Windows version. Hi Doug, I use a Canopus ADVC110 pretty regularly with Acrobat Connect so I know that it does work.
